The Ovation Balladeer Street 2771STR-MB was unveiled at this year’s NAMM Show in Anaheim, captivating the crowd with its Satin Burst Finish. The voluminous Deep Contour Bowl, in combination with a solid AA-grade mahogany top, provides optimal conditions for a superb acoustic sound, claims Ovation, which also cuts a good figure on the amp with its OP-Pro preamp.
The centre sound hole with an inlaid rosette gives the guitar a traditional look, with the two-piece mahogany neck offering players stability. A Pao Ferro fingerboard and a black walnut bridge are used instead of rosewood and round off the overall appearance of the guitar. The 2771STR-MB is also delivered in a sturdy Ovation ABS case.
