Come along, try and buy, and talk with the Vintage signature and performing concert artists. In addition to Vintage guitars, there will also be an opportunity for show-goers to pick up and play instruments from Fret-King, Danelectro, Bohemian and Santos Martinez.
7pm Saturday evening will see a concert from a selection of Vintage’s endorsing artists: acoustic legend Gordon Giltrap MBE, 12 string guitar historian and aficionado Paul Brett; one of Britain’s most experienced and respected classical guitarists Raymond Burley; solo acoustic player Rory Evans and folk songstress, Carrie Martin.
Speaking of the Saturday evening concert Paul Brett said: ‘Vintage have assembled a top class and very diverse bill for this event. Our audience will join us on a journey through the history of the acoustic and classical guitar – there’ll be plenty of music, both original and reinterpreted, as well as stories and anecdotes. Each performer brings something identifiably unique to the table, so Something for the Weekend ‘An evening concert’ promises to be an entertaining and educational night of wonderful music.’
