Ovation Announce Europe Special “Folklore Guitars”

Based on the legendary “Folklore” (6-string) and the twelve-string “Pacemaker” guitars, Ovation has developed two new guitars, both of which are visually reminiscent of these successful models.

However, these guitars are by no means merely new editions; equipped with the latest features and state-of-the-art produced, both models radiate joy from the very first moment with their ‘wow effect‘ sound.

Purely acoustically, the combination of a deep contour body and torriefied spruce top generates a round and very warm sound. The placement of the neck-body joint on the twelfth fret also makes a significant contribution to this. The unique VIP-5 preamp with five integrated digital images offers lots of possibilities on the amp. The individual images can be mixed with the natural sound of the guitar.

The “Folklore” (6-string) has a nut width of 45mm and is particularly suitable for “finger pickers”. The twelve-string Ovation Folklore model has a standard sized nut width of 48mm, as the standard size of the Ovation 12-string guitar. Both instruments are delivered in a sturdy wooden case.
